Oh My God 2" is a follow-up to a movie called "Oh My God," which featured Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles. In the first film, Akshay portrayed the character of Lord Krishna.
The long-awaited moment has arrived as Akshay Kumar is ready to reveal a glimpse of his upcoming comedy-drama film, "OMG 2". Akshay took to Instagram and delighted his fans with an interesting video showcasing his character, along with an announcement about the teaser. In the video, Akshay is shown walking amidst a crowd of people, who chant 'Har Har Mahadev'. He has ash smeared on his forehead, wears blue paint, a bead necklace around his neck, and has long dreadlocks that reach his knees. Along with sharing the video, he wrote, "#OMG2Teaser will be released on July 11. #OMG2 will hit theaters on August 11."
As soon as the announcement was made, the actor's fans and industry friends flooded the comment section. Huma Qureshi expressed her excitement with a fire emoji. One user eagerly wrote, "Har har Mahadev. Can't wait for #omg2." Another comment read, "Goosebumps." Someone else commented, "Masterpiece loading #omg2." Recently, the makers unveiled the poster of Yami Gautam, who plays the role of an advocate in the movie. Directed by Amit Rai, "Oh My God 2" is a sequel to the film of the same name, starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. In the original film, Akshay portrayed the character of Lord Krishna. Alongside Akshay, the movie also features Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam. "OMG 2" will face a major Bollywood clash with Sunny Deol's upcoming sequel, "Gadar 2". Additionally, Akshay has the Hindi remake of "Soorarai Pottru" set to release on September 1, in which he stars alongside Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal. He also has the action thriller film "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" alongside Tiger Shroff, scheduled to release on Eid 2024. Furthermore, Akshay will reunite with Riteish Deshmukh for the fifth installment of his successful comedy franchise, "Housefull".
