                    Since her triumphant victory over Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 39, Rhea Ripley has been enjoying an impressive winning streak as the reigning WWE SmackDown Women's Champion. However, a significant development has recently occurred in her championship reign. The title has undergone a transformation, now being recognized as the WWE Women's World Championship, leading to the retirement of the SmackDown Women's Championship belt. This alteration signifies an evolution in the prestigious title and further solidifies Rhea Ripley's position as a dominant force in the WWE women's division.

                    Currently, Rhea Ripley, known as "The Nightmare," has yet to defend the newly introduced Women's World Championship against any challenger. The opportunity for an aspiring champion to emerge exists through the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match, where the victor can cash in their contract at any given moment to challenge Rhea Ripley for the coveted title. Additionally, the highly anticipated SummerSlam 2023 presents another thrilling occasion where Ripley may choose to put her championship on the line, providing fans with an exciting showdown against a worthy contender.

                    The WWE RAW episode on June 19, 2023, potentially unveiled Raquel Rodriguez as Rhea Ripley's challenger for the upcoming SummerSlam 2023 event. A surprising turn of events occurred when Rodriguez openly declared her intention to cash in the Money in the Bank contract against Ripley, following a hypothetical victory in the MITB 2023 ladder match. However, despite her aspirations, Rodriguez did not qualify for the ladder match, eliminating that opportunity. Consequently, SummerSlam 2023 now stands as the next viable option for a highly anticipated title match between Rodriguez and Ripley.

                    Given the hints of a possible rivalry between the real-life best friends, it is plausible that the victor of the MITB 2023 women's ladder match may choose not to immediately cash in their contract against Rhea Ripley, allowing for a title match specifically between Raquel Rodriguez and Ripley. It is important to note that the winner of the Money in the Bank contract has a period of 12 months to utilize it. During this time, they can select any of the Women's Champions from the three WWE brands as their potential target for a championship opportunity.

                        Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez have shared a close friendship since their early days in WWE NXT. Both talented superstars made their debut in the NXT brand in 2017, but it was during their time at the Performance Center where their bond truly formed.
